GERP strengthens its governance and operational structure.
To support the growing development of its conservation, research, and international collaboration programs, GERP is pleased to announce a new managerial organization.
Prof. Jonah Ratsimbazafy remains President of GERP, providing strategic guidance and scientific leadership. This reorganization is designed to reinforce his role and strengthen internal governance mechanisms.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of:
• Hanitra Rakotojaona – Executive Director
• Aina Ramamonjisoa – Operations Manager
• Rico Valiha Andrianirina – Knowledge and Development Manager
This new structure will enable:
• improved coordination of GERP’s programs and initiatives
• strengthened management of technical and financial partnerships
• increased efficiency in project implementation on the ground
• a modernized internal organization aligned with international standards
• direct support to the President for strategic planning and oversight
This evolution marks an important milestone for GERP, confirming its commitment to professionalizing its structures, increasing its impact, and building long-term collaborations for the conservation of Madagascar’s primates.
